Cancellation and refund policy
Refund, rescheduling, cancellation and no-show rules for Engine Labhub employment consultations in Germany.

Cancellation by the client
Cancel at least 24 hours before the scheduled start for a full refund of the consultation fee. Alternatively, you may reschedule once without charge, subject to availability. Send the request to info@engine-labhub.digital and include the booking name and appointment date.
For cancellation less than 24 hours before the start, we may retain 50% to cover reserved adviser time and advance preparation. If document review has already been substantially completed, the reasonable value of that work may instead be deducted and explained in writing.
No-shows and late arrival
An appointment is a no-show when the client does not join or arrive within 15 minutes and has not contacted us. No-show fees are non-refundable because the time cannot usually be reassigned and preparation has already occurred. If you arrive late, the meeting may still end at the agreed time.
Rescheduling and exceptional events
Requests received at least 24 hours ahead can be moved once at no cost. Further changes may require a new booking. We consider documented emergencies, sudden illness and severe travel disruption individually; this does not remove statutory rights.
Cancellation by Engine Labhub
If we cancel and cannot agree a suitable replacement time, we refund the full amount. If technical failure on our side prevents a meaningful video consultation, you may choose a new appointment or full refund.
Non-refundable items and exclusions
Completed consultations and delivered written action notes are not refundable merely because a client later chooses not to accept a job or does not obtain employment. Third-party bank, travel, translation, authority or employer costs are not part of our fee and cannot be reimbursed by us. We do not purchase materials or take service deposits on a client’s behalf.
How refunds are issued
Approved refunds return to the original payment method. We initiate them within seven working days; banks and payment providers may require additional time to display the credit. We confirm any partial deduction before processing.
Statutory withdrawal rights
Consumers may have a 14-day withdrawal right for distance contracts. If you expressly ask us to begin document review or deliver the consultation during that period, you may owe a proportionate amount for work performed. The right can expire after full performance if you gave the required express consent and acknowledgment. Mandatory German and EU consumer rights remain unaffected.
