Controller and contact
Engine Labhub, Level 6, 28 Schildergasse, Cologne 50667, Germany is the controller for personal data described here. Privacy questions may be sent to info@engine-labhub.digital or raised by phone at +49 221 5550 3290.
Data we process
We receive contact details and message content submitted through the inquiry form; booking, payment and correspondence records; and employment documents you deliberately provide for a consultation. The website stores your cookie choice locally in your browser. Please redact identity numbers, signatures, bank details and unrelated health or family information.
Purposes and legal bases
We use inquiry data to respond before a contract (GDPR Article 6(1)(b)); booking material to perform the consultation contract; invoices to meet legal obligations (Article 6(1)(c)); and limited records to protect legitimate interests in service quality and legal claims (Article 6(1)(f)). Optional analytics, if introduced as described in the cookie notice, require consent (Article 6(1)(a)).
Retention
Unbooked inquiries are normally deleted after six months. Consultation working copies and action notes are normally deleted 12 months after the appointment unless a longer period is needed for a claim. Invoices and legally required accounting records may be retained for up to ten years under German requirements. Cookie choices remain on the device for up to six months.
Recipients and international transfers
Authorised staff and service providers for hosting, email, video meetings and accounting may process data under contractual safeguards. We prefer providers processing within the EEA. If a provider transfers data outside the EEA, we rely on an adequacy decision or approved standard contractual clauses and supplementary safeguards where required. We do not sell personal data.
Your rights
Subject to legal conditions, you can request access, correction, deletion, restriction, portability or objection. You may withdraw consent at any time without affecting earlier processing. You can complain to the competent German data protection authority; for our Cologne establishment, this is the State Commissioner for Data Protection and Freedom of Information North Rhine-Westphalia.
Security and required information
We limit access and use proportionate technical and organisational measures. Internet transmission cannot be guaranteed completely secure. Fields marked as required are needed to answer an inquiry; without them we may be unable to respond.
Updates
We revise this notice when our practices or legal duties change. Material changes will be identified by a new effective date.
